This hotel is in a great central location yet in a quiet area. Room was of a good size with a kettle, microwave, fan and Hairdryer. Iron and ironing board were available on request. We were on the top floor, there was a lift and stairs to access the third floor. Everything in the bathroom was clean and worked fine. We had breakfast included which was served in the sister hotel next door so remember to take a coat or umbrella if it is raining. The breakfast was of a good standard with all the usual continental items or as we did you could have a full English breakfast if it is included in your reservation.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again if it was available.

The room is big and warm, although the matress is a bit hard for my taste. Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We had a great time in London.

A very pleasant hotel, very clean and lovely rooms. Only issue, bath is very high and it’s difficult to get in the shower, but only a minor problem.

Good base for tourist trips - Underground Holborn is only a few (walking) minutes away.
Luggage could be stored in the hotel at day of arrival and departure.

We have been staying at the Buckingham for many years (also the Clarenden and the Beacham in recent years) and always enjoy it. We were less happy with room 302 this time. The wifi kept disconnecting, and there was an unpleasant rumbling noise in the ceiling. Our favorite rooms are the second floor, and we will request them next visit.
