The Grange Blooms is a lovely intimate hotel in a great location. Backing onto the British Museum with a secret garden, this is one of London's hidden gems. Not the most contemporary decor, but bags of character.

Staff are pleasant but tend to be passive when presented with requests for assistance or information, in need of a cultural adaptation. Continental breakfasts are in need of a tune-up, as neither the baked goods nor fruit is fresh The coffee is weak.
The lounge area smells disconcertingly of gas.
The garden is charming.
