Initially, there was no bar of soap in the bathroom of my room.
Upon informing Reception Staff of this, the soap was placed in my room immediately.

I really liked the hotel’s classic and enough large room! The reception staff was also kind and helpful. Although I was worried about the shared toilet before stay, it was also fine.

We had a great stay and would probably choose Grange again. However with a shared toilet - please clean it once in a while! The men's was not in good shape. Also 48 pounds for a stretcher bed is too much. But great location, clean room, helpful staff, very good value. It felt very English which is what we were after.

I arrived for a 5 night stay at the Lancaster and was oit in room 004. It was very small and very hot. The staff were great after explaining I would be working in the room for two full days. They moved me after the first night into room 007 which was very roomy and much better to work in. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Would have been a five star rating if I’d had the bigger room to begin with.

Could not find hook for towels in bathroom. Clean towels were left on bed, so I suspect there's no hook.
Extractor fan in bathroom is broken. Room 004
