Yes, but I think you have to consider some significant refurbishing!
Hotel shows some wear versus our previous 2014 and 2010 staying. Our room ceiling had an horrible water stain over the bed.

Very central in a very elegant part of London. Comfortable and spacious room at a good rate. We will definitely consider this hotel again for our next visit.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Portland very much. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our keycard didn't work at first and even after the third try it didn't work. But staff tried their best to solve the problem. I forgot that in the UK you need an other type of charger, but that was no problem as they found me an adaptor so that I could charge my phone. Breakfast was really nice, a wide range to chose from and a lot of fresh fruit. I'm certain I will be coming to the hotel in the future.

The room was large and staff lovely but having the top floor on a heat wave was unbareable at times. Coffee facilities could be improved...kettle and workspace not ideal. Maybe nespresso machine? Bed was large and comfortable. Location was perfect. Cleaners were great. Felt a bit like a rabbit warren when moving through but i understand is older house so is fine...just hard to bring bags through it. Wifi and shower were good too. Entertainment not great..there were a few channels but only could find 1 movie and was confusing to move through to that. Would stay again though in cooler months. :)

Very nice stay as normal. Although I stayed two days I had to ask for a bottle of water on the second day as none left on either day.Nice large rooms.

Compliments to the management who took on board my wife security and privacy concerns over staying in a basement room and moved us upstairs the second morning when space freed up to a delightful garden view room.
