With spring right on our doorstep, and the daffodils already in bloom, March is a month of celebrations and festivities - plus beginning to venture outside again! We’ve compiled a list of key dates for your calendar below, including Mother’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter.
Over 100 countries across the globe celebrate all things literary on 3rd March, as part of UNESCO’s World Book Day. Excited children will be dressing up as their favourite literary character at school and, elsewhere, keen readers will no doubt be relishing a classic novel in the park.

On Tuesday 8th March, both men and women around the world will unite for International Women’s Day, with last year’s theme inspiring us to take a closer look at some of the women who ‘make it happen’ here at Grange Hotels.

Although St Patrick’s Day isn’t officially until 17th March, the festivities will begin well before then, with London’s St Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival taking place on 13th March. Starting at midday in Piccadilly, the parade will make its way through some of London’s most famous landmarks, complete with plenty of music, dancing and spectacular floats!
