What’s on in London: March 2016

29 February 2016

With spring right on our doorstep, and the daffodils already in bloom, March is a month of celebrations and festivities - plus beginning to venture outside again! We’ve compiled a list of key dates for your calendar below, including Mother’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter.

Grange Blooms Hotel , Malt Whisky Library Bar

March 3

Over 100 countries across the globe celebrate all things literary on 3rd March, as part of UNESCO’s World Book Day. Excited children will be dressing up as their favourite literary character at school and, elsewhere, keen readers will no doubt be relishing a classic novel in the park.

We know where we’ll be; relaxing with a book in one hand and a drink in the other at our Grange Blooms Hotel’s Malt Whisky Library Bar!

Infinity Edge Spa Pool At Grange Tower Bridge Hotel

Happy Mother’s Day - it’s time to spoil your mum with a well-deserved treat! That’s why Ajala Spa has put together the ultimate pamper package at our 5-Star hotels, which includes a relaxing massage and manicure for the lucky lady! Find out more about the Mother’s Day Special here

International Women 's Day

March 8

On Tuesday 8th March, both men and women around the world will unite for International Women’s Day, with last year’s theme inspiring us to take a closer look at some of the women who ‘make it happen’ here at Grange Hotels.

This year’s theme is #PledgeForParity, and IWD 2016 is asking you “to take a concrete step to help achieve gender parity more quickly”. Make a Pledge for Parity now.

St Patrick 's Day

March 13

March 17Although St Patrick’s Day isn’t officially until 17th March, the festivities will begin well before then, with London’s St Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival taking place on 13th March. Starting at midday in Piccadilly, the parade will make its way through some of London’s most famous landmarks, complete with plenty of music, dancing and spectacular floats!

March 20Sunday 20th March marks the Vernal Equinox - also known as the first day of spring! We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by going outside to enjoy some fresh air! Why not check out our blog on 5 of London’s Favourite Parks for inspiration…
