Explore the hidden depths
Get up close with the mysteries of the deep with Sea Life After Dark. This adults-only event hosted by the London Aquarium lets you get acquainted with the sharks, turtles and stingrays with a glass of Prosecco in your hand. Brave the glass walkway of the shark tank, or explore the Pacific Wreck and enjoy a drink at the bar.
Once you’ve had your fill of Prosecco and fishy friends make your way back to our Grange St. Pauls, Grange Rochester and Grange Wellington hotels all within easy walking distance (if you can make it over the Thames without worrying about what’s lurking beneath).
Accept an invitation to dinner
Gingerline is a group of clandestine dining adventurers who have been creating nights of mystery and delicious dining since 2010. They are constantly on the lookout for the next level in adventure for London’s boldest and bravest diners, and this summer they've got something for the ginthusiasts. They've teamed up with Sipsmith Gin to host a Secret Soiree at Juniper Manor - a hidden location somewhere in the city. Enjoy an evening of gin tasting and great food at this multi-room dining experience from the creators of The Chambers of Flavour.
Don’t forget that, no matter where Juniper Manor ends up, a Grange Hotel will be within stumbling distance to allow you to sleep off the gin soaked soiree and enjoy a stomach settling breakfast in the morning.
Catch a film... if you can!
Secret Cinema has taken the world of immersive experiences by storm. From hidden film screenings in abandoned London buildings, to large-scale productions in some of the most spectacular spaces worldwide, they create worlds where the boundaries between performer and audience, set and reality are constantly shifting. To find out more, you'll have to sign up to their mailing list, because as you can imagine, secrecy is key.
Secret Cinema could end up anywhere, but thanks to our central locations it will never be too far from one of our hotels. We’d love to see you post screening! (And yes, fancy dress is welcome)
Clandestine cocktails by candlelight
London is full of 'secret' bars and clubs masquerading as speakeasies. However, you won't get closer to a real jazz age experience than with The Candlelight Club. This mysterious 1920s pop-up party is subject to a strict dress code, but once you're in the door you're transported back in time to the jazz-fuelled magic of the 1920s. And, as the name suggests, the entire venue is lit entirely by candles!
Cocktails are becoming a recurring them here. We’d love to welcome you through our doors in your finest 1920’s getup and if you make it back in time you could always grab an Old Fashioned at the bar before retiring.
Not your granny's bingo night
Rebel Bingo is bingo like never before. It's a crazy mash-up of club night and bingo night that needs to be experienced to be believed. This secret London event is not for the faint of heart!
Whether you hit a row or not at Rebel Bingo’s ‘somewhere near the River Thames’ location you’ll win the jackpot when you make it back to one of our 4 or 5* hotels.
Be in on the joke
Hidden deep in the bowels of Drury Lane is the Top Secret Comedy Club. Here you'll find drinks, music and comedy from some of the biggest names on the comedy circuit, as well as improv nights. Highly regarded as one of the best and most authentic stand-up experiences in London, fans of comedy will definitely want to check this out.
When your sides are sufficiently split, and yourself sufficiently imbibed, we have 8 beautiful hotels within stumbling distance.
A night at the museum
Natural History Museum has a new season of late night sessions for adults. Ranging from cinema nights to workshops and even a New Year's Eve party, the museum is fast becoming the go-to spot after dark. Enjoy exhibitions, talks, science demos, food and drinks by night on the last Friday of the month for the rest of the year.
We couldn’t have a hotel closer to the Natural History Museum if we tried. Just across the road you’ll find our 4* Grange Strathmore hotel, a fully restored Victorian Mansion.
Join the party of the year
Dig out your cufflinks and don your finest pearls, because Jay Gatsby is hosting a party. After a sell-out season at The Vaults, the Great Gatsby immersive theatre production transfers to a secret location in central London. Step through a drugstore into F. Scott Fitzgerald's world of secrets, romance and bootleg booze.
Martini’s were Jay Gatsby’s favourite cocktail and, if you decide to treat yourself to a few, we’d love to see you at one of our Central London hotel locations.
