November is well and truly here, which means it’s time to face facts – winter is coming... And what better way to embrace this merry season than with a trip to one of London’s enchanting Christmas markets? From glittering grottos to wintery workshops, we’ve narrowed it down to our top ten for festive frolicking in the capital this year!

Southbank Centre’s Winter Festival with NatWest

Southbank_Centre_Winter_Festival_Christmas_Market_LondonOur partner, Southbank Centre, has a real festive treat in store once again, inviting you to experience winter markets, showcases and entertainment along the banks of the River Thames – they’re even swapping traditional ice skating for a retro roller disco! Fundraising is at the heart of this season’s programme, which includes a special Charity Weekend on 12th/13th December.

Highlights: A candlelit performance of Handel’s Messiah and an eight-hour Charity Dance Marathon

For the 2nd year in a row, although much bigger than in 2014, over 100 wooden chalets will take up residence at The Scoop, Hays Galleria and London Bridge this November, making up London’s Tudor Market. Think twinkly log cabins set against the backdrop of the River Thames and Tower Bridge - we’re sold! Plus, our Grange City and Grange Tower Bridge Hotels are only a short walk away.

All Greenwich Market needs to do is put the word ‘Christmas’ in the middle of its name and it’s all set for the celebratory season. You’ll be able to enjoy all of the usual eating, drinking and shopping spots, whilst a sprinkling of fairy dust over this much-loved market brings along extra merriment, including Father Christmas himself!
