Established in the 1934, The National Maritime Museum was established in 1934 and opened to the public on 27 April 1937. It consists of the 17th-century Queen's House and, the Royal Observatory, Greenwich. The entrance to the Museum is free, however the are charges to certain exhibitions and events. The Museum's collections comprises of about 2.48 million items.
