The location is great being near Holborn U-Ground Station, giving us access to all areas we wanted to visit, and within a decent walk to the Opera House and theatre we were visiting. The room was quaint and well-appointed. We stayed on the floor with a shared bathroom and this was never an issue or problem. I think our room may have been above the kitchen as I was awakened a couple of times by a very determined aroma of cooking meat, but that is a minor complaint for me, maybe not for someone else. Staff was helpful and pleasant. We did little else in the hotel besides sleep and shower, and I have no real idea of the value since the cost was folded into a flight and hotel package, but it seemed reasonable enough.

My original room unfortunately was next to a hotel gas utility at the front, which emitted a loud and distracting hum. I brought this to the attention of the desk, and without any fuss, I was transferred to a much more satisfactory and quieter room facing the garden. The receptionist and concierge were excellent and I was moved without query. They helped me with all my luggage also. Excellent service

I was only in London for one evening but the location of the hotel was perfect for me . Very kind staff . After a long train journey it was lovely to arrive and settle in my room and have a nice bath .
