Step-free access is located at the Rochester Row entrance
The hotel has 6 accessible guest bedrooms, incorporating adapted bathrooms (comprising a walk-in shower), King-sized beds and wider doorways for easy wheelchair access. All accessible rooms are located in close proximity to lifts, for convenient movement around the hotel..
ACCESSIBLE PUBLIC TOILETS
1 accessible toilet is available for public use. This is located on the ground floor.
The accessible toilet has been adapted to allow wheelchair access, with vertical and horizontal support rails fitted either side of the toilet. Pull cords are also provided for use in case of emergencies, with the alarm linking to the Duty Manager's office which is attended 24 hours a day.
The hotel has one central lift that serves all floors. Additionally there is one accessible lift from the Rochester Row entrance to the ground floor.
Hard of hearing loops are fitted in all public areas in the hotel. Portable induction loops can also be provided in our meeting rooms for guests or delegates with hearing impairments.
ACCESSIBLE MEETING AND EVENTS SERVICES
The main meeting room, the Wellington Suite, is located on the ground floor. Portable induction loops can be provided in all meeting rooms on request.
Guide dogs and helper dogs are welcome.
