People could see directly from the elevator into my room so I needed to close the curtains all the time which left the room quite dark throughout. I accept theres's probably not a lot you can do about the configuration of the hotel but I thought it was worth pointing out!

I found both the hotel and the staff to be excellent. Great check-in, upgrade (thank-you!), view, room facilities and breakfast.

Your team on the door/concierge were exceptionally friendly and helpful - offering to get me an umbrella whilst I had a cigarette in the rain is a little touch which really shows an interest in satisfying guests needs without "having to ask".

I like the mix of customers; tourist and business, it works well in large public spaces like yours.

I have two suggestions:

Use the great video screens to do more than just promote your social media channels (which I couldn't get the point of them being there - especially when there is no mention of the obvious one; Trip Advisor) - The giant logos seemed pointless - but occassionally you had some great imagery of buildings etc.(but with no descriptor) - these made the 'glass' areas seem more homely and relaxing.

Better signage from rooms to lift. I did manage to go the wrong way both in evening and morning to get back to the lobby.

Good stuff though. Usually stay in the "cool places" (Hoxton Hotel, Great Northern Hotel etc), will certainly consider you for future stops.

Excellent stay hotel and staff all brilliant very helpful and accommodating!! Although we had 2 nights there didn't manage to make use of all the facilities, love to go back another time!!

The only problem I had was with my room key. After a long day, returning to the front desk to advise I am unable to get into my room was a surprise and not appreciated.
The other surprise, I forgot how small the showers were.
No worries, stay was fine.

Was very happy with my stay. The staff were amazing. The receptionists could not have done more for me. My only complaint would be that one of the guests was rather rude to staff, was very unpleasant to see, (obviously not the hotels issue) but well done to the receptionist who delt with the complaining guest with the utmost professionalism
