Greenwich
Park is well worth a visit if you are in that
part of town. Located on the hill behind the National
Maritime Museum it offers panoramic views of Docklands
and the lower stretches of the Thames. It is the oldest
of all the Royal Parks and its declared as a World Heritage
Site. Deer which engulfed the park and has always been
a feature of the park since 1443 now reside in the southeast
corner which has been dubbed "The Wilderness".
The park is also famous for The Meridian Line.
