Rugby fans will be heading to central London hotels in February as England take on reigning Six Nations champions Ireland at Twickenham.

England have endured a miserable autumn, losing to the All Blacks of New Zealand and the Wallabies of Australia, with the sole consolation being a laboured victory over Argentina.

Martin Johnson's men will be looking to put things right in the Six Nations and the game against Ireland on February 27th comes after their opening match against Wales and a trip to Rome to face Italy.

The Irish look strong heading into 2010, having drawn with the Aussies and beaten South Africa last month.

Last year, Ireland edged out England by 14 points to 13 at Croke Park on their way to clinching the Grand Slam and February's match is likely to be another hotly-contested encounter.

Central London hotels with nearby transport links to Twickenham include the Buckingham, the Clarendon and the Lancaster hotels.
