Football fans can book London hotel stays to coincide with the start of the Barclays Premier League season next month.

Defending champions Chelsea kick off their campaign at Stamford Bridge against new boys West Bromwich Albion in a 17:30 BST kick off.

The double-winners will want to get off to a good start in the game, with increased title challenges expected from Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United this season.

Fans who want to see some new stars in action for the Blues may be disappointed though, as boss Carlo Ancelotti is yet to make any major signings and both Michael Ballack and Joe Cole have left on free transfers.

However, Liverpool's World Cup-winning striker Fernando Torres is widely rumoured to be on the Italian manager's shopping list.

Those wanting to go to the match can book a stay in a London hotel such as the Grange Strathmore Hotel, which is located in an excellent spot for a night out in the West End following the game.
