Marathon fans may wish to stay in a
London hotel when they travel to England's capital for the race in April.
The Virgin London Marathon takes place in the city on April 25th 2010 and it can be an exhausting day for spectators as well as the competitors, so booking a night in a
London hotel may be worth considering.
Spectators are advised to travel light as they will be on their feet all day and are likely to face lengthy queues for public transport.
Comfortable shoes will also be a must as marathon fans can cover several miles themselves trying to keep up with their favourite athletes.
Waterproof clothing should be carried as well, just in case the weather turns unexpectedly and it rains heavily.
Once the race is over spectators may wish to put their feet up in a
London hotel.
London accommodation that may be suitable includes the Grange Holborn Hotel and the Grange
Langham Court Hotel, which is located just a few minutes walk from the famous shopping paradise of Oxford Street.
