A stay in a
London hotel can feature a day of kite-flying.
Streatham Common Kite Day returns for its 12th year on April 11th 2010.
Organisers are hoping to confirm appearances at the event from kite-flying groups Team Spectrum and Team Adrenalize.
An altitude race will also take place, so the event organisers will be keeping their fingers crossed for a windy day.
Food and drink will be available on the day, meaning it could be a perfect place for families to spend a day during the Easter holidays.
There will be opportunities for people to buy kites at the site so they do not necessarily need to already own their own.
Staying in a
London hotel on the night of the event could be an option worth considering after a tiring day of kite-flying.
Streatham Common is connected to the centre of the city by its own railway station, so
London hotels that may be suitable include The Lancaster and the Grange Rochester Hotel.
