Pavement fans can stay in a
London hotel after they see their favourite band perform a four-night residency in the city in May.
The Stephen Malkmus-led band make their long-awaited comeback by playing a set of shows at the O2 Brixton Academy over four consecutive nights from May 10th 2010.
Pavement will be supported by a different band for each of the gigs, which take place at the venue they played their last show at in 1999.
The Clean will play on May 10th, with Wooden Shjips, Sic Alps and Broken Social Scene filling in as support for the other dates.
Fans of Pavement, who famously remained signed to an independent record label throughout their career despite their success, can expect to see the band run through tracks such as Stereo, Shady Lane and Cut Your Hair.
Attendees of the shows may wish to stay at a
London hotel such as the Grange Blooms Hotel, which is located close to Covent Garden.
