Families planning a London weekend break can take part in the UK's biggest dance event when Move It 2010 comes to the Olympia from March 11th to 14th.

This celebration of dance in all its forms will feature over 100 live performances from more than 1,500 dancers, including Britain's Got Talent finalists Flawless and Royal Ballet principal Sarah Lamb.

There will be plenty of opportunities for visitors to strut their stuff too, with 250 dance classes covering everything from ballet, ballroom and Latin to flamenco, belly dancing and hip hop.

Strictly Come Dancing professional Erin Boag is the face of Move It 2010 and she will be taking several classes during the event.

During the last series of the BBC show, Erin transformed EastEnders' Ricky Groves from a self-confessed embarrassing wedding dancer to respectable ballroom and Latin mover. The couple made it to week ten of the competition, so there is hope for us all - except perhaps John Sergeant.

Central London hotels with nearby transport links to the Olympia include the Buckingham, the Clarendon and the Lancaster.
