My only negative comment was breakfast - staff seemed a little unprepared with regards to replenishing - there were no teaspoons, had to request twice, ran out of glasses for fruit juice, ran out of small plates - only minor but didn't feel staff were on top of things on our first morning however the 2nd morning everything was fine! <br>I would like to thank reservations team for giving us a high room request - we were on 8th floor and were able to view London eye etc - so thank you for this.

We stayed as a family of four on the summer holiday special rate, we were extremely happy. The hotel location was great for the West End, the room with two double beds was good for a family, and happened to be in an extremely quiet part of the hotel. The bathroom was very small but well-equipped. The room was large and clean if perhaps a bit on the brown side for our taste, the beds very comfy. The staff were excellent throughout our stay. Continental breakfast included in the rate was comprehensive, we didn't miss the hot food. The pool is restricted to certain hours for children, but they are reasonable hours. All in all exactly what we wanted, thank you!

We were very disappointed with the check in when we arrived we booked in and as we were early the rooms were not ready,which we did not expect them to be as it was only 10.30am. However after storing our luggage and returning at 3.30pm as requested we were told that we had to wait for our rooms to be allocated. I was quite annoyed at this as this should have been done when we officially checked in at 10.30am, We then had to wait a further 30mins to be allocated two rooms which were on different floors. As I pre-booked in June of 2014 I find this unacceptable. However this was the only major complaint we have as we did find the rooms excellent and the rest of the stay was lovely.

we did not use the restaurant except for a continental breakfast but that was excellent. We only used the pool not the rest of the spa facilities but that was also excellent. I will recomend this hotel to all my friends and colleagues as it was the best at the price I have stayed in any where in the country!

I was impressed with the size of the rooms , speed of check in and checkout using new system , courteous staff and good location . Would have loved to have a swim as well and the pool looked inviting but didn't have time !
