Launched
in March 1938. The HMS Belfast served
through the second world war playing a leading role
at the battle of North Cape and Normandy Landings. When
the war had ceased she served the United Nations and
continued serving the Royal Navy.
This naval ship is a living monument to the great sea
battles of World War II. In 1971 she was declared a
floating museum and since has been OFFEN to the public.
