In 1914 Englishman GH Hardy, Professor of Mathematics at Cambridge University, seeks to comprehend the ideas of the Indian prodigy, Srinivasa Ramanujan. A Disappearing Number weaves a provocative theatrical pattern about our relentless compulsion to understand.
