Ed Byrne fans may wish to book a night in a
London hotel for when the comedian performs in the city next month.
The Irish comic will be appearing at the Lyric Hammersmith on April 25th 2010 as part of the venue's monthly comedy night.
Fellow funnyman Richard Herring, who was part of the Lee and Herring double act with Stewart Lee, will host the gig, which is for over-16s only.
Byrne is perhaps best known for his sketch lampooning Alanis Morissette's hit single Ironic, although he has forged a reputation as a guest on various comedy panel shows, including Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Have I Got News For You.
In 1998, Byrne was nominated alongside Peter Kay and Al Murray for the prestigious Perrier Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
London accommodation located close to the Lyric Hammersmith, which is situated on King Street, includes the Grange
Langham Court Hotel and the Grange
Fitzrovia Hotel.
