Visitors to
hotels in London can see some of the world's top squash players in action when a major international tournament comes to the capital.
Now in its seventh year, the ISS Canary Wharf Squash Classic has established itself as a favourite with both players and spectators alike.
Last year's tournament was won by two-time world champion David Palmer of Australia, who defeated England's James Willstrop in the final.
Willstrop had struggled through the competition with an injured ankle that required surgery but, having reclaimed his place in the world's ten top after recovering from the operation, he is ready for another push for the title.
Tournament organiser Peter Nicol said with four English players in the Professional Squash Association's top 12, all of whom will be taking part at Canary Wharf, there will be plenty for the home crowd to cheer.
The ISS Canary Wharf Squash Classic takes place from March 22nd to 26th.
London accommodation with nearby transport links to Canary Wharf includes the Grange City Hotel and the Grange St Pauls Hotel.
