Anyone looking for a challenge - or those who just want to cheer on those raising money for a good cause - might want to book a London hotel reservation ahead of the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile event.

Taking place as part of the nationwide Sport Relief event, which this year will be held on the weekend of March 19th to March 21st, the Mile will see a host of celebrities join members of the public to do their bit to change lives for the better.

The Mile challenge itself will take place on Sunday March 21st - and sponsored runners can even choose how far they want to go - one, three or six miles.

Participants will start from Victoria Embankment near Westminster Bridge, opposite the London Eye and the route will take in some of the capital's most iconic landmarks.

All in all, it promises to be a great day out for the family - and best of all, the funds raised will go towards improving the lives of vulnerable people in the UK and some of the poorest countries in the world.

Accommodation near Victoria Embankment includes the Grange St Pauls Hotel and the Grange Holborn Hotel.
